Exceeding Your Expectations
Climbing wall safety inspections.
The safety of your climbing wall is fundamental and at Advanced Climbing Solutions we offer a comprehensive climbing wall inspection service to ensure that your wall complies to the European standards EN12572:2017.

Our inspectors are fully trained and have many years of practical hands on experience inspecting a wide range of climbing structures. The importance of having a safe and compliant climbing wall cannot be underestimated and we recommend that inspections are undertaken annually. On completion of our inspections, we issue a detailed report to fully outline our assessment of your climbing wall and highlight any areas of concern and recommendations.

Route setting.
What keeps the users of your climbing wall coming back for more? Interesting climbing routes that challenge the user are vitally important for the success of any climbing facility. A variety of routes, graded appropriately for the user base, will see climbers returning time and time again. Our route setters will work with you to fully understand the user base of your wall before undertaking any work, to ensure you are left with interesting and challenging routes suitable for your user base.

Whether you're a small home wall, school, youth club, MOD, leisure centre or large commercial climbing centre we can offer a route setting service tailored to your specific requirements.

Our route setting packages can include full or partial route sets, strip and wash of existing holds and supply of new holds; we can also schedule in route sets at regular intervals as appropriate.

PPE Inspections.
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is a vital part of owning and running any climbing wall so having adequate systems and procedures in place to monitor PPE is critical for the safety of the users and the wall itself and to ensure you are adhering to the relevant UK regulations.
Advanced Climbing Solutions technicians are qualified and competent to inspect PPE. We can also work with you to implement internal systems for maintaining your climbing facility's PPE records and offer training on conducting your own PPE inspections, maintaining inspection records and advise on what to look for on daily pre-use checks of PPE.
PPE inspections should be carried out by a competent person every 6 months, or in accordance with time intervals specified and drawn up by a competent person inline with LOLER (lifting operations & lifting equipment regulations 1998) and PUWER (Provision and use of work equipment regulations 1998).
